So today was the start of $50NL in my $50k challenge. It started of kinda rough. I played pretty good except in one hand where I tried to make the guy bluff and he actually had a hand with runner runner for 8 high strait. I ran into some good hands and guys hitting outs on river. The typical stuff for a losing session. All and All I think this level will be very profitable. I should be able to run around the same PTbb/100 (I hope). Here are couple a tough hands below!
Its hard to get away from a guy with 2/3 stack. I really think he could have JJ or QQ half the time as well. Tough spot. http://www.pokerhand.org/?738409
Well I can't play this hand much worse. The player is pretty solid but I noticed a few times him bluffing river, one time a guy bet like 1/3 pot on river and he reraised and showed bluff. I did that exact line to him here and was 90% sure my hand was good. Good thing for the 10%. Just bet out on flop and I take it down..........sigh http://www.pokerhand.org/?738416
Here short stack hits 4 outer on river. http://www.pokerhand.org/?738424
My QQ runs into this hand against another Short Stack...... http://www.pokerhand.org/?738428
Besides those tough spots is was my biggest won pot in the whole session. Tough day but what can you do? Like my buddy Ryan said, " You can't always have 10 winning session in a row." He is right, I'm not too upset, I played ok poker for most of the day! http://www.pokerhand.org/?738457

thanks for adding me to your blog. since we're both playing 50nl, I'd be willing to exchange hh for a peer review. if you're interested pm me; game123 on CR. gl.
Hey man congrats on starting $50 NL. I have been reading your blog for a while and was curious why you are only playing 2 tables at once? Averaging 9PT/100 it seems like you could have a lot higher win rate and make some good money playing at least 4 tables...
