DAY 4

After looking at my stats, my PFR is pretty low. It has been around 10 or 12. If I am playing with a 20 VPIP I need my PFR to be around 15 or 17. I will try and work on this the next couple of days and see how this goes. Here are the stats for the day:

Today: +$11.45
To date: +$32.25
To go: $49,967.75
Bankroll: $232.25

1287 hands *** 2.45 hours *** 4.45 PTbb/100 *** 21.67/11.03 *** MT: 6.93

I DEFINITELY don't think your preflop raise needs to be above 15. In fact, it should probably average around 12-13 at $10NL. It won't take much to frustrate people with your positional raises at these stakes.

Brian,

12 or 13 for the 10NL game sounds good then? I am so used to being 21/16 at 50NL. you are right, people are crazy at this level. I will stick with what I am doing than. Thanks again!

If you are playing up to 6 tables, then try to keep the numbers under 15. If they get over 15, tighten up. If they get under 10, start raising a few more marginal hands in late position. This is one way to help keep a fairly LAG overall image while multi-tabling without too much thought. Your numbers will average out fine.

I think the biggest strength you will have at $10NL is your postflop play. Don't fire multiple barrels, call modestly for some draws against people who you know will pay you off, and just make good post-flop decisions otherwise, and you will be fine.
