DAY 33 (SIXTH SENSE) <----click here!

Today I finally finished updating some software to make things faster. One problem with data mining is that the PT database (which is defaulted to an Access program) gets really really big. There is a solution to this problem however! It's called PostgreSQL! This converts your database and really speeds up the process.

This conversion is quite easy, however depending on the size your database, can take some time. How long you may ask? I had around 4 million hands to convert and it took almost 6hrs. It is well worth it when you get it done.

Other than to make the process fast, you might ask why would one do this? The answer is simple, TO FIND THE FISH! Once I got this converted I could use SIXTH SENSE to its full potential. I have talked about SIXTH SENSE in the past, but as of late I am really finding out what it is all about! Here is a quick summary of SIXTH SENSE;

"SIXTH SENSE is the future of online NL Hold'em. It is a program that will keep a real-time list of all of the current tables across a list of sites. It will allow you to sort these tables based on the quality of the players at the table using your own Hand History Database. It will allow you to sort the tables across all of these sites according to how profitable they will be to you."

If you are not using SIXTH SENSE I really feel you are losing profit. It has been reported that players who use it along with great table selection could see and in crease in profits up to %200.

I have used SIXTH SENSE since I started my challenge and it has been phenomenal. I am winning at a rate of 12.47 PTbb/100 and winning $13.65/hr over 9k hands a $.10/$.25 NL.
