DAY 53

Still rolling with LAG. Today was more SLAG (Semi Loose Aggressive). I did however suck out on my KK vs a guys AA for once............It does go both ways..........wow. Here are some good hands below.

Wake up with a hand playing LAG guys get sick of you and play back. Here is an example!

Ahh my KK sucks out on AA. Not the $160 pot I lost with my AA vs KK but I will take it!

A LAG style just takes so many little pots down your wins add up fast. I am sure with variance that can change fast!

Today's Stats @ $25NL

Today: +87.65
To date: +$893.26
To go: $49106.74
Bankroll: $1093.26

490 hands***2.55 hours**35.78 PTbb/100***22.86/19.19***MT: 2.32

Here are my stat totals for this level:

14725 hands***65.33 hours***11.19 PTbb/100***17.36/13.13***MT:
2.6***+$824.15***$11.77/hr

At what point does this run at this level become just a good win rate and not variance? I think 14k hands is a small sample. Even so, I can't imagine running lower than 9 PTbb/100 at this level. Especially with LAG poker and really good post flop play. I will stick with this level a few more days and than try to use LAG at $50NL. I don't mind playing 1 or 2 tables as long as I am play 35/30 LAG poker, it's actually really fun to get spot on reads and know that your villain has no clue what you hold. All-in-all $11.77/hr playing $25NL is pretty solid!

hey jon hadnt read the blog in a while because of PC issues. But am surprised to see you back at 25NL. Lag(30/20 version anyway... i really don't consider 25/18 true lag) is fun but can be costly if done incorrectly... basically you have to be in full control at all times and be very good postflop.
I think its a mistake to change your style because of a few beats after such a small sample. but gl nevertheless. My offer to exchange hand histories for a review still stands btw (50NL only).
